Our Proud History

Established in 1993, we were the first nationally distributed mail house with production facilities in every state of Australia. Our focus was on transactional and essential mail production, predominately for utilities and financial institutions. Today we have shifted our focus to offer a Full Circle Mail Solution incorporating many facets of direct mail production, desktop technology, design and electronic archiving solutions.

Our leading expertise in forms analysis and design is a prime example. Our specialised skills in this area can help present a modern and professional image of your business while making your customer's interaction with a form, such as an invoice, a positive experience. This in turn can assist with expediting payment or a response from your customer.

Our involvement on an international scale is also extensive. eLetter Solutions worked with International Data Post (IDP) in the early years to develop new systems in hybrid mail production, providing us with the experience to pursue local and international opportunities and maintain the relevance of mail. Just recently eLetter Solutions has become an accredited Bulk Mail Partner (BMP). See http://www.auspost.com.au/BCP/0,1080,CH3969%7EMO19,00.html for information on BMP.

Australia Post is also a supporter of the Major Mail Users of Australia Limited (MMUA). MMUA brings together Australian postal systems customers in a unique industry network - speaking for them with a united voice. Major Mail Users works constructively to achieve a commercially realistic, mutually beneficial partnership between its members and Australia Post.

Industry Awards

Working with PrintSoft, we co-developed eLetter Desktop to improve the desktop mail processes at a major financial institution. eLetter Desktop is the original desktop mail product that we have been providing to our clients over the past three years to help improve the production of physical mail from the desktop - saving our clients considerable time and money. Since PrintSoft was acquired by Australia Post on 1 July 2005, eLetter Desktop is now being released to the wider market in conjunction with the newly developed mail production engine and is called DeskDirect.

DeskDirect was selected from more than a dozen candidates as this year's recipient of the Xplor Technology Application Award, presented to an industry leader that establishes an imaginative use of current technology. Xplor International is a worldwide association of users and suppliers of products and services that create, modify and deliver customised information using a variety of document technologies.

"PrintSoft's DeskDirect stood out amongst many strong competitors for the Xplor Technology of the Year Award," said Skip Henk, EDP, president and CEO, Xplor International. "This is a breakthrough technology that will allow for businesses and print providers to fully realise the importance and advantages of hybrid mail."
Consistent with Australia Post's broad strategic direction, the acquisition of PrintSoft represents a key initiative designed to maintain and grow the core Australia Post letters business by making letters a more cost effective communications medium. The acquisition of PrintSoft will help to realise the potential of eLetter Desktop and ad hoc desktop mail opportunities around the world.

eLetter Solutions is also a past winner of the Xplor International Innovator of the Year Award.
