Printing capability
Our diverse printing capability includes the technology and support of some of the world's premier developers in printing and inserting platforms - Fuji Xerox, Pitney Bowes and inTelmail exploreneT.
Our Fuji Xerox black and white and digital colour printers provide high quality, crisp and clear output for text, images, logos, shading, lines, charts and graphs. Headlining these systems are the DocuPrint 180 & 135, the fastest cut-sheet digital printers on the market capable of 180 A4 impressions per minute. Ideal for printing statements, invoices and other customer correspondence, the DocuPrint 180 & 135 have a combined printing capacity of 650,000 impressions per day. Adding to this capability are the Fuji Xerox 1250, 2060 and 6060 DocuColor printers - the 6060 featuring a booklet maker as an additional service.
A selection of our DocuPrint 135 printers are MICR printers for production of specialised items such as cheques and other negotiable documents. These printers are the only Australian Payments Clearance Association Limited (APCA) approved machines, offering you the highest level of quality.

Operational capacity
With a national print network covering production sites in five states, we can easily transfer work around Australia to increase productivity and deliver your communication sooner. In using any one or a combination of our sites we can deliver maximum discounts by printing and lodging presorted barcoded mail in the state in which it has to be delivered. This can reduce postage costs in some cases from 50 cents to 37.4 cents per article.
Mail processing
We utilise Pitney Bowes and inTelmail exploreneT automated inserting platforms which are extremely cost-effective and timely compared to manual insertion.
Our Pitney Bowes inserters can process DL to C5 documents at cycling speeds of up to 12,000 per hour and C4 envelopes at up to 8,000 per hour. We can provide full mail piece validation and reporting through our high-integrity, Direct Connect File Based capabilities including insert and envelope scanning. Our platform has the ability to run consistently with minimal interruptions and limited downtime due to features such as the high capacity envelope feeder, high capacity output stacker, 20" high insert feeders, and the optimised operation that is gained from the continuous motion of inserts.
To extend automatic insertion further, we can also provide 'intelligent inserting'. This is where we can variably insert documents into pre-selected envelopes 'on-the-fly' during a print run. For example, out of a direct marketing campaign for a health fund, people between the age of 20-30 may only receive a brochure on singles cover, men over 30 receive a family health cover flyer, and women over 30 receive the family flyer as well as a breast screen reminder. As it's all performed automatically, intelligent inserting is a highly efficient and cost-effective method for targeting your customer.
To maintain the high level of quality output you deserve we are continually integrating new technology and checking procedures. This ensures inserting, enveloping, distribution and customer advice is performed in a consistent and uniform manner, with a high level of integrity.

Mail handling
As a division of Australia Post, our understanding of the required mail handling procedures is second to none. At the completion of each job all mail is labelled and sorted according to Australia Post PreSort requirements, enabling us to pass on all postage discounts for your mail-out. We have several scheduled pick-ups per day, ensuring that mail produced throughout the day is fed directly into the mail stream. This is critical in both meeting delivery timetables and achieving customer service levels.
Security
The integrity of your data and security during data transfer is ensured through secure multiple transfer options. We also employ stringent physical security procedures (intruder alarms, code access and surveillance equipment) in addition to personnel checking for police records.
Business continuity
Our nationwide processing and print distribution network is an integral element of our Business Continuity Plan, allowing us to circumvent equipment and power failures by routing jobs to another site. In this
way we do not rely on one site alone, offering you greater printing and delivery reliability.
